Our Spring Oaks Civic Association meets next Wednesday, September 8th at the Trini Mendenhall Sosa Community Center at 1414 Wirt Road at 7:00 PM. Join us at 6:30 for free cookies and cold drinks!

Our guest speaker will be City of Houston District A Council Member, Brenda Stardig. She will discuss the following important topics:

1. The proliferation of game rooms in Spring Branch. 
2. The pending City of Houston deed restriction program, which will provide sample deed restrictions for civic associations to choose from.
3. The City of Houston Prohibited Yard Parking Ordinance.

Also, we will have a vote on submitting the Prohibited Yard Parking application, so be sure to join us to make your vote count!

All residents of Spring Oaks are encouraged to attend and to support SOCA in working for our neighborhood. We hope to see you there.
